Privacy statement

Personal data

According to Article 4 Paragraph 1 of the GDPR, personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, amongst other things, your name, postal address, email address, phone number and IP address. Information not enabling you to be identified, i.e. anonymised data and information, does not constitute personal data.

When accessing this website, the IP address, the date and time of access, the accessed page or name of the retrieved file, the message as to whether access to the site or retrieval of the file was successful, the host name, the volume of data transmitted, the web browser used and the operating system used are saved in a log file.

If you use the online form to contact us,

  • Your first and last name
  • Your email address
  • The content of your message
  • Your postal address
  • And your phone number

will be recorded and processed.

c) Option to upload floor plans and sketches

If you make use of the option to upload floor plans and sketches, it is your responsibility to ensure that the documents you choose to upload do not contain any additional personal data. If other personal data is contained, particularly of third parties, it is recommended that you conceal this. Otherwise, as a user of the website you must ensure that personal data of third parties is only transmitted to us with their express consent.

Overriding interest as the legal basis

Article 6 Para. 1 (f) of the GDPR forms the legal basis for the storage of protocol data. This is stored for seven days for the exclusive purpose of ensuring proper operation of the server. This interest in terms of the operational reliability and security of the server overrides other interests in terms of immediate erasure of said data. As a visitor to the website, you also have an equal interest in accessing and using a website that is as reliable and secure as possible.

Consent as the legal basis

No personal data relating to you will be collected or stored without your consent – with the exception of the automatically stored protocol data (see above). Only you decide whether to disclose personal data or not for the purposes of being contacted. If you disclose such data about yourself, you consent to it being stored and used in line with data protection laws. This personal data disclosed by you will only be used to answer your enquiry or provide you with the requested information or quotes.
If you have issued your consent for the data to be processed, you can revoke this at any time with future effect.

Consent of third parties and responsibility of website users who upload data

As a user of the website you must ensure that third-party personal data visible on optionally uploaded sketches and floor plans is only transmitted to us with the express consent of the parties concerned. It is recommended that you conceal this data before uploading the files (see above).

Cookies

Cookies help make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser.
Cookies required for electronic communication or to provide certain functions desired by you are stored in accordance with Article 6 Para. 1 (f) of the GDPR. There is a legitimate interest here in terms of cookies being stored to provide the services in a technically error-free and optimised way.
The cookies we use are called session cookies. These are automatically deleted once you leave our website.
However, the website also uses some cookies that remain stored on your hard drive. These are set to expire on a date in the future. When you revisit the website, these cookies automatically detect that you have accessed the website in the past and remember your entries and preferred settings (so-called persistent cookies).
You can set your browser so that you will be informed when cookies are used and you can specify whether cookies should only be enabled on a case-by-case basis, enabled for specific sites, disabled by default, or automatically deleted when you close your browser. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service offered by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics also uses cookies to allow your use of the website to be analysed.
We would like to draw your attention to the fact that Google Analytics has been extended by the code “AnonymizeIp” on this website to guarantee anonymous recording of IP addresses (referred to as IP masking).
By the activation of IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address is shortened by Google in the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area before it is transmitted to Google in the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a server of Google in the USA and shortened there.
On behalf of the operator of this website, Google uses this information to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports on the website’s activities and to provide the website operator with other services in relation to website use and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of Google Analytics is not combined with other data by Google.
You can prevent cookies from being stored by activating the appropriate setting in your browser software. However, we stress that you may not be able to use all the features of this website in full if you choose to do so. You can also prevent the data related to your use of the website and generated by the cookie from being transmitted to Google and processed by Google (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en-GB).

You can also prevent Google Analytics from recording this data by clicking on the following link. By doing this, an opt-out cookie is set to stop your data being recorded when you visit this website in future: Deactivate Google Analytics
